Silvia Scozia has over ten years of experience in legal research and policy development/implementation on international law and social responsibility issues, gained in both the private and public sectors.

With a solid legal background (Master's Degree in Law and LL.M. in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the Geneva Academy), and a specialisation in Sustainability Leadership and Corporate Responsibility from the London Business School, Silvia has worked as a researcher at the British Red Cross in Cambridge (UK), a legal associate in the Advisory Service on International Humanitarian Law of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and an advisor to the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain at the law firm Palacio&Asociados. She has also worked with the International Migration Law Unit of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the NGO Oxfam. Since 2024, Silvia has been supporting the Red Latinoamericana de Litigio Estratégico en Género (ReLeG), working on a project to promote gender equality and improve access to justice for women and girls victims of gender-based violence in Latin America.

Silvia is certified by the Asociación Española para la Calidad (AEC) as a European Expert in Sustainability and Social Responsibility, with specific expertise in ISO 26000, SA8000, SGE21 and IQNet SR10. In 2023, she was certified by the Global Reporting Initiative as a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional. Currently, she is completing training as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (AEC) and GIF AP Practitioner (Diligentia ETS).
