BST impact Founding Partner, Risk Monitoring and Evaluation

Giulia is a social sustainability and human rights specialist and the co-founder of BST Impact sàrl. She is also a founding member of Diligentia ETS, a community of Italian and international associations promoting guidelines and standards for sustainability and CSR. There, she is also a member of the technical committee on Gender Equality as international and European framework specialist.

She has several years of professional experience in assessing, monitoring, and evaluating labour conditions and potential human rights violations in diverse geographical contexts. She has supported the creation and development of assessment tools and legal frameworks to verify adherence to international standards and investigate risks related to human rights through data collection, research, analysis and reporting.  

She has international experience with multi-stakeholder engagement, developed throughout her years working for different private companies in Italy, Switzerland and China, as well as public entities within the Italian government and Italian military bodies. She has further worked with international organizations such as the World Health Organization, as well as grassroots NGOs, in the fields of public relations and as human rights analyst and investigator.

Giulia holds a MA in International Relations from the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome, a Master of Law in Diplomacy and International Law from the China Foreign Affairs University of Beijing, and an MBA in Humanitarian Law and Disaster Management from the Niccolò Cusano University of Rome. She is a member of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) community and their Professional Certification Program, she is a qualified Auditor for ISO 9001 quality management systems – and a certified GIF AP practitioner.
